Professional Cleaning:

Regular dental hygiene appointments are important for the prevention of gum disease.  A dental cleaning removes tartar (mineralized plaque) that may develop even with careful brushing and flossing, especially in areas that are difficult to reach in routine tooth brushing. It is often done by a dental hygienist. Professional cleaning includes tooth scaling and tooth polishing.

Restorative Dentistry:

The restoration of existing teeth that are defective because of disease, trauma, or abnormal development to normal function, health, and appearance. Usually using white material to restore is called composite.

Bridges, crowns, inlays & onlays:

1.     Crowns & Bridge:

Crowns and bridges are fixed prosthetic devices. Unlike removable devices such as dentures, which you can take out and clean daily, crowns and bridges are cemented onto existing teeth or implants, and can only be removed by a dentist.

2.     Inlays and onlays:

An inlay is an indirect restoration (filling) consisting of a solid substance (as gold or porcelain) fitted to a cavity in a tooth and cemented into place. An onlay is the same as an inlay, except that it extends to replace a cusp.

Implant restorations:

Dental implants are anchors placed in bone, usually made from titanium or titanium alloy. They can support dental restorations which replace missing teeth. Some restorative applications include supporting crowns, bridges, or dental prostheses.

Dentures and partial dentures:

·        Dentures:

an artificial replacement of one or several of the teeth (partial denture)  or all of the teeth (full denture)  of either or both jaws; dental prosthesis.

·        Partial dentures:

A removable or fixed dental appliance that restores one or more, but less than all, of the natural teeth or associated parts and is supported by the teeth or the soft tissue.
